Things to keep in mind:

1. Headset with working microphone, Teamspeak 3 & Skype is required to join.
2. Some perks require that you first prove yourself.
   Typically, you'll be asked to help build something in the city and play with us for a while to prove that we can trust you.
3. Inactive players will have their leanto destroyed and their permissions removed after a while if they go inactive without notifying the leadership.
4. You are allowed to play with an alt in Utopia and have a production base somewhere else.
5. Apply general common sense and respect in village chat and while playing
6. Join only if you're planning to be with us permanently. Quitters are a big waste of our time and instantly become kill on sight no matter what excuse.

I'm going to begin sporadically writing quick news paragraphs with what we're up to in Utopia to increase awareness and interest in our city.

Utopia news

3 players have shown interest in joining Utopia since the re-launch and 2 have already moved in. I've been cooking for them and they have been training their characters while gathering some materials for the cooking, so we should get their stats up soon. One of our new citizens is actually a strip club owner with female dancers in Second Life, so that's pretty exciting. Maybe we'll hire some female dancers for Utopia because things have been kinda lonely ever since Cheena and Lazi left.

We're also working on a major project to clean up the Slums (our public lean-to area) and organize better everything related to gluttony there so we can easily boost the stats of our players. So I've designed a new area exclusively for timber piles and the citizens will be chopping boards and making timber piles while I'll go hunt some argopelters to get the neccesary silver for a bunch of cupboards for the newbie gluttony process.

Finally, we're organizing our fields better into sections and building signposts to describe what type of crop and purity is planted in each section, and we'll harvest everything and plant a new group of fields. So join us and you too can have fun building and using our superior infrastructure.
