Suggestion for JohnCarver: Bring Salem to PAX

I think it would be very cool to see a Salem booth in the Indie Games section. It would also be cool for fans to get to meet the developers.

2.5 months from now seems a little tight on time considering:

We do not agree with doing any of these things until we have a game in our hands we are proud to advertise and consider more complete. There is a very real budget and very real person assigned to this. We have no intention of leveraging either too hard until we feel the game is ready.

Our marketing budget currently includes a booth at a Trade Show or two. Unfortunately, there is a 1% chance that we will consider this game in a launched and marketable state in 2014. There is just simply too much we want to do before we call it the L word.

I always felt that was the biggest mistake that was made for Salem; large marketing projects when the game was clearly not in a state ready for that.
