Making it crush all boulders...not just ore
Would be freaking sweet...I mean come on. Ore boulders are already the least phlegm intensive and you give THEM a machine to crush.... at least make it lime.

Chipping stone/iron ore/lime uses up the same lime afaik, loftar has said its already planned they just haven't implemented it yet.

It already is, I couldn't imagine smelting if I had to chip ore.

That literally takes about 1 minute to fill an oven (without lime even).

I am assuming you have never mass produced iron.
According to your calculations it would take 6 to 12 minutes (I still do not know your ore-lime ratio) to fill 6 - 12 smelters and that is way too much according to how much time besides this limedigging and building coal clamps consume.
