Pickup distance

Hey just started salem and i had a very small suggestion, when you pick up items mayby it would be good to make so you don't have to be directly over the object. I've had problems with clipping where i couldn't pick up an item because it's on the edge of a cliff or its too close to a fireplace etc...

This has been the subject of many, many, threads. Please search first. Everyone wants this fixed.

and then people flame on you for necroing a thread.... new thread old thread what ever.... this REALLY NEEDS FIXED...... and shouldn't be that hard to fix.
my village just lost a ton of 80% green humas because some one crashed in the gates and we couldn't pick it up or bash the gates down in time to pick it up.

its kinda BS that your inventory drops if there is some thing too close to you any way... it should just port you home with out the inventory drop... or make what ever your stuck in walk threwable like leentos till you are out of them.

at any rate this is one of the biggest headachs in this game and REALLY REALLY NEEDS ***** FIXED.......... like before next patch. >.>

Ah ok sorry i didn't know it was already discussed this much x) but ye definitely needs to be fixed

there are plenty of other things that need fixed. Creating several threads for the same problem means other problems get less attention.

Please think before you post things like this: the first breaks the whole reason you can't teleport with anything in your inventory. The second just means anyone can stroll into a base by logging out next to the walls.

Yes, this needs fixing. My suggestion is dropping everything exactly where you stood when you logged out: that pplace is guaranteed to be walkable
