Any chances that land could be leveled under the Stake Claim pillar?

hardly a newbie friendly advice eh?

It shouldn't be such that you should play once to figure out what are/n't possible (leveling land, destroying own items etc), and then later make a new character for actual playing

So your suggesting that the developers cater to players who are not smart enough to realize that you cannot dig dirt that sits underneath structures, houses, and buildings?

No thanks.

... Where am I suggesting that you should be able to dig dirt undernearth regular buildings? ... i explicitly only mention Stake claim since its partway artificial (hell ...you can move through it)

It is generally more costly to raze and rebuild a stake claim, than it is other buildings. Add to that the facts that most people out of necessity build their stake claim rather early in the base building process, and also that the stake is transparent to walking, and I end up sympathetic to the suggestion.

I agree and support this.

I was very careful attempting to flatten the terrain around where I placed my claim-stone, yet I managed to miss a spot. The 4 vertexes around the tile that the claimstone is on are all level, but an adjacent tile has a slight bump in it that I cannot eliminate. because there is "no clearance".

I agree that it should be possible to level land under the claim stone... or even sink or raise it up. F the status quo.
