I would love to see tobacco implemented in Salem as another crop. After all, it's America. It could be used for smoking, "medicine" or snuff. There should be an abilily to craft pipes from 2 wood blocks or 1 wood block and some sort of bone. Also, tobacco seeds planted in different biomes would yield different types of tobacco and each type also has different tiers. After you harvest tobacco from field, you can either dry them out on drying racks or dry them with smoke or fire. Each drying method would give tobacco different stats as well. After drying process, tobacco can be mixed, whether different types together or different tiers of same type or different tiers of different types and fermented with sugar, to create certain effects to the final blends. Final process is storing tobacco by pressing it to sheets. These sheets can be crumbled to small flakes then flakes to cuts. You can smoke flakes or cuts. Tobacco products can also be stored for long period of time to age which would enhance the stats.
The idea here is to improve complexity of Salem as well as increase trading between players. I would like your opinions on temporary effects of tobacco for my idea.
