Gluttony System [SOLVED] :)

I don't mind the Gluttony System. I like the complexity and actually wouldnt mind if it were even more complex and had greater depth.

That being said, the one thing that kills the entire system for me...

Having NO control or influence over what/when Gluttony is triggered. This is a source of endless frustration and adds nothing in terms of "Game" for me.

Sooooooo many times, ive prepared for Gluttony, spent hours, days, preparing, finding foods, organizing, only to have the system "happen" while im out foraging with a bag full of rocks... And then it turns off a moment later... for no apparent reason.

Sometimes, I can open a new box, or do something, and the system stays on, other times it closes by simply taking a step.

Solutions? Leave the Random system as it is, but ADD an additional means of triggering a Gluttony session?

Leave the random generator, but also let me complete a process to trigger it on my own.
Eating a particular chain of foods, or inspirationals, or preparing a Banquet Feast, i.e. build a table and find various items, etc etc. With a time in between how often I can "Banquet"?

A side note: Without looking up the Balance issue online, and finding the right information, I would have kept on eating Wizard Hats for Blood gains without knowing its utterly destroying my ability to raise other humors.

Either, make this extremely apparent in game, or build in some sort of balance. If one gets raise 10 points over the lowest, the lowest raises by 1 point, or something. As is, its incredibly easy to sort of screw your own progress by making progress... I end up ruining my game by playing the game.

What are you talking about? You can only turn it on if all of your humours are full and you CLICK the button that shows up below the humour bars when they are full.

Once you get to farming/cooking, it doesn't really matter what your humours are or if they are imbalanced. People that emphasize the point of not raising biles too far ahead of each other are often exaggerating, or they just suck at gluttony in general.

you enter gluttony mode when your humor bars are full.

so prepare your food and then eat something to top yourself off. Make sure your not using wander as that then drains phlegm and your not longer 100% full of each humor.

It can seem random especially if you are eating / wandering while collecting stuff.

While I'll agree with you for the most part, if you're aiming for "well balanced" humors and you get one out of proportion to the others, it makes it more expensive to get back to that point of near equal. It's not that it's harder, it's just the basic economics of the system.

No, you have to click the button that pops up when your humours are full to enable the gluttony interface.

Well isnt this quite embarassing.

I almost always have Foraging turned on. So, yeah, it made the system seem Random.
It does turn on whenever I ensure all humors are filled up.

I noticed my Yellow Bile will often stop at 14.9/15. 1/10th of a point behind full. Which, is probably why i never realized it.

Thanks everyone for pointing this out, without too much ridicule :)
