New Skill : Resilience

Existing Mech Alterations : All humors are capped at 50, players cannot murder (or be murdered by) players with any humours over 50. If a player is knocked out by a player with more than 50 humors attempting to murder them (with any character) teleports them to boston - their stuff.

New Skill : Resilience
Requires : Rights Of The Englishman
Proficiency Cost : 30C&D, 30 Sparks, 25 Nat Phil, 15 Per Phil,
Effects :
Prevents murder from characters with =<50 humors
Enables murder from characters with >50 humors

Raises humor cap to it's current cap (or lack there of)

The point of this skill is to tier out PvP a bit. Maybe other skills could be added at different caps, so as to prevent insanely unbalanced PvP.

Actually a decent idea. Problem is legitimate newbs can't afford. To extend that, to make it much cheaper means that people can make longer term griefing alts that can't be killed.

We don't need more ways for people to game the system. So no.

Good idea. Needs work and a better way to implement it though for the reasons of the two people above me.

I disagree. It comes close to the skills people have when they gain murder, barring perennial phil.

The system I propose offers an odd stability. People can either have a murder alt with 50/50/50/50 or they can have one with higher stats. It means that any combat with a lower player will be more balanced and, if worst comes to worst, a player can fight for their lives. As it stands, a 500 humour character can take out a <50 humour character and there is no hope of revenge. The player loses their char, and their home. This system will at least prevent the former.

With the system implemented, we see 2 tiers of combat (though I will agree more might work better). A player is either low humors, or high.

In what sense would it allow "cheaper means that people can make longer term griefing alts"? As things stand, not only can such alts raid you, they can erase your character. A higher level alt is already immortal.

No thanks. doesn't make sense or fit in the game.
