Stalls

Want option to buy items through a stall(as the stall owner from other players), and will happily pay a % tax from the store funds to do this.

Example :

I want to sell iron bar @ 80 each
Tax is 15%, so 15% of 80 is 17

when a person sells an iron bar to my stall, the stall pays them 80s from the funds, then deducts a further 17s for the tax.

You could still keep the stall item cap, just change it to have two options, buy or sell.

thanks

While a good idea, the major problem of monopolization of stalls still remains. A solution to the monopolization needs to happen before improving the usefulness of stalls.

A good idea that I'm sure has already been suggested. Stalls are convenient but hardly monopolising the entire trade on a server, many trades still take place from the forum.

Salem needs an economy but for that to happen most gameplay features and resources must be present. As to the actual limit of available stalls per server, I wonder what that will be. Should every pilgrim be entitled to their own Market place? If that is the case then wouldn't it be more suitable to have a Market place building that consolidates all trades per server or xserver on an account basis?

Not on Plymouth - right now you have only stalls and Boston shouting. And in times when there was still forum trade on Plymouth, while people sold iron bars for 60s through forum, stall owners sold them for over 100s.

No, just the people who are most willing to trade. Not the X first ones who got their stalls after they were added, or those who botted in Boston waiting for stalls to be freed. Which would be half bad if they were actively trading stuff. Which they are not.

If you feel this thread is breaking the rules or should be murged, please use the report function to bring it to a mods attention directly.

Your spam has been reported for just wanting to increase post count, bringing nothing to the thread.

I was thinking more about that people monopolize the stalls rather than stalls monopolizing trade activity, but yeah the affect of stalls on the overall trade is interesting as well.

The devs already stated that a buy option for the stands will be added.
