Scarecrows (and crows, maybe)

And strangely enough, there weren't threads about this matter. Or i wasn't able to find them (at least, searching for scarecrows gave me almost nothing).

So what i propose would be a scarecrow, made with some hay, cotton cloth (or a piece of clothing, maybe?) and a full-grown pumpkin. They would work in a radius (aka, a square) and they could require some item to continue working properly (something like a couple autumn grass per day, for example). Obviously, their effects wouldn't be stackable.
Their functionality could depend on whether crows or similar birds are implemented or not.
If they aren't implemented, they could simply work as a small plenty buff per day for the crops covered.
Assuming that birds or such are implemented, though, they could have an alternative use. Let's assume that birds will peck seeds and plants, hereby reducing plenty. Scarecrows could work as a primary target or simply make so that birds stay away.
Another method to scare birds would be, well, attacking them. They could either flee or attack back, though.

It could be a basic scarecrow that we can then dress in any clothing, including hats. That way we could have different kool looking scarecrows. Like the idea.

I'd like to see crows and scarecrows in the game as well. I think would work well for this game as in they fit thematically and spend a lot of time on the ground. The idea of crops being vulnerable is something I'd be interested in seeing. It might be a little too much though, as people already complain about how hard things are. Why add another mechanic to make it harder?

Yes, but I like putting the clothes on something that has a function, rather than just looking at them in a pretty box... however, the box you speak of working like cupboards in H&H is a good idea too. We could have both, it gives us more of a reason to make all of the worthless clothing in the game.

Edit: This was before the new update. :) I take back the worthless clothing remark. Coles, your idea is needed more than ever now.

Yea crows would be cool, on autumn areas during the dawn (wish there was day & night cycle). Great atmosphere.

I wish there was too, and also with a sun.
