Expand on raising animals. Turkey farming is in place, could do something similar w/ pigs. Add wild boars to wilderness and like turkeys kill would be a KO and allow capture. Require a male and female for breeding. A new skill: Pig Farming would open pens. Also expand cooking receipts and inspirations. Other animals, e.g. sheep & cows, could be used also but have to be purchased in Boston.

I'm pretty sure there were no wild pigs in New England. I saw this on another recent post about adding animals and it begs the question, what exactly are the factual limitations the game designers impose on themselves when adding new animals into the game? I understand the need for flexibility between gaming/fun and history/reality, but at the same time I kinda don't want to see wild boars, or say for that matter zebras, or wilderbeast, without some kind of context that makes them make sense sense. (for instance the March hare and presuambly other future monsters makes sense because of the darkness.) Otherwise I feel It takes away from the game immersion.

Early explorers brought livestock to the Americas beginning in the 1500s, including pigs that escaped or were deliberately set free in the New World. One of these is the Ossabaw hog, a feral breed that has lived for centuries on Ossabaw Island off the coast of Georgia.

Honestly, I just want domestic animals, don't care which. Historically we can have those pigs, devon cattle, spanish goats, sheep, and most likely more. Would love to see our horses soon and maybe some buffalo.

Any domesticated animal or plant known to the "old world" that could live near the New England area could be implemented in the game. Looking forward to wolf packs though. Let them have 500 blood each. Paks of 5. They move at twice the run speed of players and aggro at 100 meters.
