I have seen some threads like
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3472&p=38263#p38263

and in game most of newbies got 0 upkeep claims...
IMHO we need some warning like "Your claim is running low, don't forget to put silver into stake!" when owner walks on claim.

I agree that there should be some msg when your claim upkeep is low.
I saw a lot not abandoned camps with no silver in claim stone.(new burning coal clamps etc)

Noooooo!
I've had some excellent finds the last few days thanks to the claim upkeep addition, from some well established claims as well, not to mention some nice new clothes, tools and gadgets, :P .
And, I was dead against it at first, lol.
If people can't manage their claims or read the forums, that's their problem.

That sounds really harsh, lol, I don't mean to sound harsh but seriously, as soon as you click on your claim stone it's there for you to see and the newer you are the more likely you are to be clicking on it regularly - extension, etc.
Maybe add abit about it in the tutorial for new people.

Fine extend tutorial by quests "gather 150s", "build claim" and after that quest "increase claim upkeep" and for me it works same as warning message.

I wouldn't mind getting a reminder whenever a claim stone runs low on upkeep. Even for an established player it's easy enough to forget unless you regularly mess with your claim stone.

Let me throw you guys a bit of a curve ball...

How do you tell the players which claim it is that needs to be loaded for the month?

Good point.

Could let us name claims like we do keys though.

Preferably also dumped in "account" info ... if there going to add character info per account to user "account" page that is.

If you dont visit your claims often then you got no warning message, but if you walk over your claim and it has low upkeep you get warning.

You should not "NEED" to visit the forums, and scroll through endless threads to get simple game mechanic information..

Just bad game design imho.

This, clearly the game has "checks" in place for when people enter a claim(for crime reasons, friendship etc), it should not be so hard to code a message for the claim owner when he enters his claim and the check is made?

Not saying i'm for or against it, because ignorance is never and excuse.
