Seriously need something to mark the minimap for the homestead or town. Atleast input coordinates in the game or a world map. Something! Traveling is a pain in the game

Ya it sucks. User enders and learn the layout of the land. After you get use to the system its not that big of a deal.

Also use search. This topic is brought up alot.

I use this map tool with Ender's client. It takes some effort merging your map segments, but once you're done you can export it to one large image and draw your notes on it.

If you're out exploring and decide to turn back (assuming you started from your homestead), just import the last session. You'll get a map that includes every sector you've passed through, so you can just follow that back home.

Having a decent in-game map would definitely be nice, though.
