Survival Pouch

Postby colesie » Tue Jan 01, 2013 8:04 pm

I'd like to propose the idea of a small satchel that can be carried on you at all times much like a keyring. It will have 3-4 inventory slots and will be used for "essentials to survive". This pouch will be used for things like tinder drills, flint + steels, torches, etc. You can port to boston or your homestead with items in the bag but the items that it can hold are limited. This will encourage more indepth, seamless exploration.

Just throwing it out there, it would make alt vaulting even more easier and rampant ( more space on alt) and would make raiding even more worthless then it is now, with regards to phat lewtz.
Interesting idea though.

It would only be used for survival things, tinder drills, flint & steel, food, rope, etc. It would also only have 4 inventory slots and take probablly a leather or two. It wouldn't be used for alt vaulting because I think it would work like a backpack and the materials would cost too much compared to just making another alt. Also shift clicking stuff in and out would make it annoying for alt vaulting even if it did store things besides survival items.

That's the idea. Even weapons. We don't have one handed guns so it's not possible to carry a sword and a gun and be able to port home so it'd be nice
