i dont feel hyped about making cloths at all at the moment it would be very good if you get defance from your cloths mybe other buffs too. like more movement from better boots or are u guys already planing for this?

They are planning to add some kind of stats to the clothing.

iron and leather armor would realistically provide more protection than cloth...but cloth is much harder to make...
