Well it seems to chop trees down slightly quicker but dosn't chop clocks any faster. Was hoping for more.

Yeah and for that reason the only time to ever use one is when chopping down tree's.

If you're going to post to the ideas section, could you at least put forward an idea as to how to improve or change this mechanic? CoaH is for generalized complaining, this forum is not.

And for the record, the metal axe cuts (hurr hurr) the time to chop a tree down in half. That's more than "slightly quicker".

Ok here's my suggestion: Make the metal axe cut the time for chopping blocks/boards/chipping stones

I'm pretty sure there are plans for a saw, there is mention of it when trying to use a sawbuck without an axe equiped (says you need a saw). There have also been some hints by jorb I think. Personally I hope its more like the pickaxe is on stone, 30% per tick on sawbuck, log cutting etc.

2 man saw would be fun I think if it gave a nice bonus, the current 'axe stacking' on a tree encourages alts, as do alt-vaults, so it wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference.
