Creating a more inclusive Salem experience

I know that many Salemites, including myself and Dallane, are constantly looking for ways to make Salem a more welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all races, backgrounds, religions, ages, orientation, etc. At the same time, we recognize a need to stay authentic to the historical setting of the game. With these goals in mind, I've created this thread to list ideas to help the developers as they pursue these lofty ideals. Together, we can make sure no one is triggered by anything in-game.
1. A statue of Crispus Attucks in the town of Providence
2. Addition of rainbows to the environment
3. Some sort of program where the richest players in game are taxed and the silver taxed is distributed to poorer players in the game. Been trying to think of a good name for this...will let you know if I come up with something.
4. An option for "gender fluid" character when starting the game.
5. Make the images of skinned animals more friendly, or better yet, make the the food options vegan.
6. Mention Dunmore's Proclamation in game
7. Make players read some info on "The Colonial African American Experience" before they can complete the tutorial and start the game.
Any other ideas, please post below.
