I always tought of carrots, tomatos or any vegetables grown on fields
Imagine a 4x4 field, with 16 tiles and in each tile a vegetable planted, working just like 16 pots
Maybe add a total yield of the 16 vegetables planted

Pots are mostly for flowers I guess :D

I grow tomatoes from a pot. Said pot is also upside down. But yes generally all of those are planted in fields

Cool idea, would you be able to fertilize?

Since vegetables have no tiers, I don't think so. That's why I said the field will work just like 16 pots

why would you need so much carrots ? i dont know about that , because when you plant in pots water is valuable resource . if you plant in field , water looses its value. + for example if you have herbsandsprouts of 350 you can have up to +6 . it means 8 pieces from each pot , from 1 tile

Yeah, kinda agree with this... IMO farming should be reserved for much more complex crops, like that sugar cane suggestion from a few weeks ago. I really like that each different crop has its own tiers, its own way of making new seeds, and sometimes its own growth stages. Having a hard time seeing how carrots would be able to be on that level so it seems like a bit of a step backwards.

And yeah, pots are easy to spam and quicker to raise the purity of than fields, so not sure why anyone would do this aside from not having to use water.
