New Store Item - Lumber Shed

Image could be a Covered Pavilion or open sided Tent (not that we have rain [yet]... but that's typically how it's done... to speed drying)

Shed should be able to hold 250-500 Lumber; but require same footprint of Large Farm House...same drying time but be resistant or immune to Arson

OR a shed that dries lumber in half the time... same footprint...but no special perk.

With barns needing to be 2000 dry lumber, 1000 planed... this addition could be considered in line with 2.0+ updates...

And you could likely create a buildable version...for normal drying period... but it would still be substantially less space than building normal timber piles for the same amount of boards.

- The word is "timber" here, not "lumber".

- General very bad and misleading wording, looks like a troll attempt to me.

- If you need items like that to build a barn, you should not have one.

Technically correct; your response is the very definition of trolling

Sounds a bit unbalanced, since it stores more and has less of a footprint than the number of timber piles it would reduce. Needs more side effects like 50/50% chance to be all mossy boards, possibility of termites destroying all boards, change in season ruining boards (everbloom to cold snap), etc.

I suggested it initially as a 'store' item...which usually has a bonus that is not commiserate with reality; but I further suggested same item be available to populace in game... just without the speedy dry time and/or with or without the perk..

It's an idea...and a realistic one for the 'time period'...

I totally get this won't be popular with those who have Barns built... and planned ahead... that made the sacrifice; but eventually I think it's worth the en devour.

I know from those who've played Popham... that animals sicken and die during cold snaps... but Barns bypass much of it. So it follows one must have a Barn to begin with.

Given the giant initial investment in material... speeding this along... is a worthy store item... more it's a worthy craft-able item period...store **** always gets a small perk... shorter dry time seems fair.

Instead of that why not add dried boards to a npc shop? So you can buy them with silver same as iron at the start of a server.

why would it be immune to arson?
Jesus died for our sins. You should do the same.

Store bought items often have their own perk... it was a rogue idea... vs more obvious, mundane solution: more volume, etc.

I haven't heard that many folks being victim of arson, which makes me think Devs will change that- so something that might have greater immunity might be a bigger sale in store.

IDK... I was just tossing ideas around.
