Safety Deposit Box

Postby Penge567 » Sun Sep 13, 2015 12:34 am

An extension of the bank used for storing a small amount of objects. A safety deposit box could be rented weekly, for say 50s to 100s, and have space for 10 to 20 items. This could be used for when you have a valuable item but you don't trust leaving it in the base, and you don't want it to clutter your inventory. Something along the lines of glass panes, blistersteel, or glass panes. In order to continue use of the safety deposit box, you have to pay the usage fee, otherwise the bank will hold onto your items until you're able to pay. There is no restriction to what can be put in the box, but it's only accessible to the person who registered it as well as their descendants if they were to pass on. This could serve as an alternate to key alts, as it would be easier for transferal of keys as well as other treasured valuables and heirlooms. A person is limited to only one safety deposit box, so they have to choose wisely what needs to be protected. Instead of a monthly or a weekly fee, it could be an "access fee" so that it stays in there, and when you need to open it, you pay a fee to take or add items into the box.

Wouldn't it technically also require bank robbery? If there was a bank heist, that would actually be pretty interesting. Although I bet quite a few players would be mad if their banked silver was stolen.

Seeing as their are no guards for the bank it wouldn't take much more than just picking the locks and walking off with the loot.

GTA: Providence City. I mean, we already have guns, murder, even a plank with a nail in it. All we need is prostitutes and the ability run over people with horses and it'll be done.

Bad idea. We're living in a dangerous, anarchic, scary world. There is no "God" to protect us. We must protect ourselves. Individually or as a group, we are our only hope.

Then why do we have a bank in the first place? Why is Providence PvP protected?

Providence is not pvp protected. You can still attack and kill people. Banking items is not needed. as you get higher up you will see that you can transport just fine.

I agree the bank should be removed.
