but i like my castle hard to siege....
i have a whole harem of Asian girls in the tallest tower that i don't want to lose.

any way...
raiding/sieging in this game isn't about territory since most the resources you would want near a village/castle you want to be fresh.

in the past people raided to get purity foods.... but with purity nerfed and a timer on gluttony there isn't much point in getting a huge stockpile of gluttony food.

as far as repairing... it would be REALLY nice if splash damage only splashed the wall/gate behind it rather then wall linked to its self..
If you guys have questions about radar find me on steam, KiaKun.
sorry for the very late replies.... everyone i played salem with quit... and all my villages have been raided.

It's all very well to say you want an improved besieging system, but as it is right now, the raiding and combat systems have been very carefully balanced to make your base relatively safe if you put some moderate effort into it, but still be raidable by someone determined. We want both the carebears and the raiders to have their chance to have fun. A proposal for a new system in that area is going to need to be a little more detailed than 'want moar better!' if you want anyone to take it seriously at all.

I would like to see less petty looting of noob bases and more raiding of major bases. I don't ask that half decent towns be casually smushed to a shell of walls every weekend as they were before, but i think that a balance somewhere between that and what we have now would make the game much more fun for everyone. Yes it is still possible to destroy more significant bases, but the time (and importantly, boring time) required to do so is too much, and has resulted in what i consider far too few major raids in recent months. Even as it was before, your base was generally about as safe as it is now if you put some effort into it and were willing to defend it. I think that a lack of major raids makes the game less exciting for everyone, many of my friends who used to love raiding just aren't interested anymore because the payout of fun is not enough to make up for the boring, and i feel that peaceful players had more excitement and motivation to play when they would perceive a greater potential that they might actually need to defend their bases from a raid. Such was my experience when i was a peaceful noob.

Anyway, I get that you devs seem happy with how things are and don't plan to re-do the entire system, so the simplest thing i've thought of that maybe could be considered is letting titans bash stuff faster again, instead of capping max speed of wall bashing at around double soak. I don't think it would result in much woe for the carebears, but those raiders willing and able to risk more valuable characters would cut a bit of the boredom of raiding due to less time spent bashing walls so it would be more reasonable to hit stronger targets a bit more often, as well as gain the excitement that comes from greater risk. AND rangering would be more fun and exciting with the increased potential of hunting down a super criminal!

citadel must be large and originally painted for pvp.winning team that received some prizes such as silver every week 1000 or be able to buy certain things in exclusive trader in this citadel.

i think the raiding system is fine and balanced.
the problem with raiding now... is there is just no point to raid.

On Popham, I can easily see raiding a town that I know has a Barn and animals (Rustatorium in the SW edge of darkness from Popham for example). The animals firstly cost 1250 to 1500 each, and become more valuable over time as they are maintained. It would be valuable to raid, and difficult to bring all those animals back north. If animals become even more valuable for their stats, not their meat, somehow, I can see raiders wanting to keep the livestock rather than slaughtering them for the meat.

Putting these kinds of valuables into the game, valuables based on time and mechanics and effort rather than 'oh he has a random proc needle, yay loot!' will go a long way to making it quite the effort to take on a larger town for a greater yield.
