Golden Tools

Hello, just a idea
since we already have Golden stuff would it be possible t oget golden tools that are made with Steel+Gold Bars and have the same speed as Steel Tools but a 0% chance to turn into questionable effective tools? + a good look.

No this basically means you don't have to watch your madness at all other than to survive towards the end.

Golden Tools instead have a chance to 'bend' and become questionably effective versions of themselves even with no Madness levels?

Gold is a very soft material.
Think that woulnd be a good idea to make such tool except for hanging on a wall.

To be fair, im thinking hes talking about gold-plated steel tools, basically a steel tool that looks golden.
And because its covered in gold, it magically has the ability to resist damage from a psychotic episode?
*shrug* Why not just deal with your insanity first, then go use tools? :p

Actually, that's a nice idea. This is a sandbox game, so I think we should be able to craft tools made of gold and silver, just their effectiveness may very well be questioned.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should and such.

From my extensive experience playing Dwarf Fortress I know there are plenty of other gems we might find, now if we only had a feature to hawk the junk to NPC merchants for petty cash. We can sell "junk" leather and cloth, and literal trinkets in the form of savage charms, why not junky little gems some newb gem cutter did as part of his training?

Vendoring gems would be nice.
