Studying & Inspirationals

I would like to talk about the system of studying.
Referring to the new players, average players, and the best ones.

The system I think is a bit unfair towards these new and medium-sized players.

Why?
KO - reduces inspiration
KO - removes prof. (2x = -1 random prof)
re-use of the same subject while studying increased by 50% up to a total maximum of 300%
need to study use a huge amount of inspiration - where a large part of this simply is being lost

I understand the sense of the whole of idea ... of course you play any longer to have better - no but you have to look from different point of view ... the new player is more vulnerable to danger than the end game player.

Why? Ok, you can do it yourself home (new player) and try to will have a stone fance, but a strong player or a torch or stone fance not powtrzyma by ... wo robbed him before killing it ... especially.

As soon as someone says potions that restore inspiration ... cost make or purchase cost is huge ...

I think that it once again to consider what is good about this and what is bad!!

Butterbug potions are quite easy to make.

Butterbug Refresher - 30 Quaffed & Quenched for 6000 inspiration ? yes easy made... in Everblooms ^^

Ok. as we do not want to talk about my suggestion is one

Rubbery Mescaline Refresher
use
1x Glass Bottle
Otto of Rose 0.1 x2 in Glass Vial
when we craft we got back Glass Vial

meybe when use 3x Rubbery Mescaline Refresher got Glass Bottle ?

@edit... you think playe have time for find bugs + capture... and... >_> for regeneration inspiration...
player is human... cant play 24h/7 ...
example many people is old and working... or students... >_>

It is a good thing they get their inspiration back when they are working and at school then.

i played salem years ago and are now new again and the inspiration-system is somewhat a pain in the gluteus maximus. it need a careful consideration which inspirationals to use for a specific trait and as a beginner you often don't have that many different insp. and if you do not take care, as i did first, you run out of inspiration and are stuck with foarging the land. I mean its not that bad to be forced to roam around as a newbie you can discover the world though.

I have no solution for now, but some balancing maybe a inspiration buff for the first 3 days, would help alot for newbies to progress

No you are not expected to play 24/7. That is why there is a bed that when you click sleep it logs you out. That bed also increases the rate of your inspiration. Also learning the "learning" skills increases rate of inspiration. The inspiration system is better than the old system in my opinion. Before I could just run around using anything to train and the amount it would give would just be reduced to the point where it was not useful anymore. All you had to maintain was keeping black bile up which constant chewing on stuff would do. That system did not reward a person for planning nor did it allow for a person to disregard planning and brute force.

If you do not want to plan out your inspirations or at least try to minimize spamming one type of inspiration then I suggest you focus on your gluttony to get your black bile up, mine a little to make some potions, and continue to brute force your 10 use inspirational. I have recently come to the point where brute force on inspirations was not helping me at all. So I have recently started exactly that planning to use more of a variety which has lead me to crafting more inspirationals instead of just relying on what I find while walking around.

old players are exponentially faster and faster learning but new player NOT :]
i not new player but ...

i saw Pyeno (or other name...) in twitch/stream... or whatever

he use red rose (only) for +2 H&P prof... is waste inspiration but HE CAN
why ? faster regeneration...

Simple Bed give more regeneration then Leafy Bed ?

There may indeed be a case to be made for making the proficiency loss proportional to the values of the character.

I think how much more it takes to level a prof at 700 than at 50 balances it well enough.

have some potion that can in winter ?

have use all the butterfly of house now can not keep make butterbug

i think not good for the new player good time in the season so much worse have winter
