A Few Ideas

Edibles:
Marsh Mallow; "Althea officinalis"
New herb with multiple uses, plantable in pots (maybe made into a bush such as cranberries/blackberries)
Purity is based on the same as fruit trees (Plant must be cultivated purity with by bee's)
Found in Marshes/Autumnal
Possible uses:
Edible:
After being gathered, used as a substitute as leaves in salads (Cooking)
Can be boiled and then fried with onions to make a new type of food (Fried foods, Intermediate cooking)
Can be dried then ground into a powder, made into a paste and then roasted to make the sweet "Marshmallow" (Tasty Pastries or Advanced Cooking)
Medicine:
After being dried, may be used as a toothbrush/chewed to improve hygeine (Give a buff, less chance to be sick, Bonus to Gluttony?)
Other
Fibre from the stem can be used in paper-making
Can be used as glue, Root can be boiled in water until a thick syrup is left and the syrup can be used as glue
Buildings:
Watermills:
Must be constructed on land and shallow water (Wood planks, steel/wrougth Iron, nails, Glue)
Uses: Acts as a Stamp mill, except grinds wheats/bones automatically
Aqueducts: (Clay/bricks, Granite)
Provides a steady input of water along the constructed portion into a pool
-Starts on a water tile, and transfers a certain amount of water to an end location where a pool holds x amount of water and gains x amount of water per hour/day
Printing Press: (Wood, steel, nails, fiber)
Allows papers to be made and written on
-Paper: Made from fibers
Misc:
Frogs/cricket/crabs
Why do these stop our pathings? If we walk over any of these and step on them they pretty much die. I don't see why these should realistically stop a full-grown Pilgrim in their path
Mechanics:
"Scavenging"
3 new items: Wrought Iron, Steel, and store-bought 'crowbar'
Acts like scissors, except with buildings.
When you destroy a building/item you have a % chance to "scavenge" materials that were placed into the building when its destroyed, dropping on the ground
Wrought Iron (Metal Crowbar) 10% chance to get each material placed into the building
Steel Crowbar: 25% chance to get each material placed into the building
Store bought: 45% chance to get each material placed into the building
Example: Meatsmoker (2 steel, 35 Bricks)
Metal Crowbar Est. returns: 0.2 Steel , 3.5 bricks
Steel crowbar est. returns: 0.5 steel, 8.75 Bricks
Store bought est. returns: 0.9 steel, 15.75 Bricks
