Three sisters and beans

How about an advanced skill called three sisters that would let you plant beans, corn, and squash in the same field at reduced upkeep/productivity and use whole fish as a fertilizer.
Of course, we would need beans and squash (which could basically borrow all the pumpkin recipes).

If I'm not mistaken pumpkins historically were sometime used in place of squash, so all that would be needed was beans. You would have to get less of everything in order to make it work, or perhaps it wouldn't be a field plant-able thing but for gardening pots with a higher fail rate.

5x Pumpkin Seeds
5x Corn Seeds
5x Beans
1x Any Fish

I think get less of everything. That's normally the result of this plating. More variety, less productivity.
