An old H&H idea, and a new one for Salem:

Dyes- give the ability to dye clothes. Tying dyes to alchemy could provide an opportunity to make certain colors unique to different groups. This would be great for group identification.

Embroidery- be able to create small pixel images that can be sewn into clothing and flags.

If to have a cool feature I must endure a few penises, so be it.
Hmm, that came out wrong.

Dyes could be HEX-tinted clothing and Embroidery could be managed for towns, having to pass some quick tests from operators?

The idea of dyes fancies me too much, to be honest. It'd give yet another "proffession" to the game that could syngergize with cloth crafting, and also allow players to have much more diversity. If what puts back this idea is the fact of stats on clothing, there could be several different models for each "archetype" stat-related clothing, with maybe minor modifications that allowed other region of the clothing dyed, instead of the whole, or something.
