So simple idea: pay to teleport using homestead secret. If we use the wilderness guides and settle we can't use them again, but we may find people who we want to go with and not want to make the journey, so just a simple pay to port option.

This would be way overpowered. If you have the money already rent a horse.

depends how much you charge for it. I mean if you make it like double the cost of renting a horse no as over powered.

With this you have the ability to easily moved raided goods, or a player with scents from one end of the map to the other past the 180 minutes a scents can lead you, etc, etc. I understand the desire, but it's too OP unless to expensive to be worth it to anyone.

If it was made that you could only travel (port) to a village claim of a friend and it had a long travel time of an hour. 1 travel (port) max per day with a 1,000 silver cost it would make it a luxury and for newer people the choice to pay to not have to make new character to go to a far off friends village to start a new life seems reasonable.
