More Informative Tooltip For Crafting Inspirationals

Postby Trenix » Wed Sep 24, 2014 4:20 am

I remember being forced to use the wiki and then eventually a 3rd party client just to figure out what exactly the inspirationals I'm crafting, will give me. I've suggested having better tooltips for our inspirational crafts before, similar to the ender client and people told me that this feature shouldn't exist because the inspirationals stats are based on purity, therefore if it did exist it would be providing us inaccurate stats. At the time I thought that even having the base stats was good enough, but some people didn't agree with me because it would be too confusing. Anyway, now it looks like purity no longer gives bonuses to inspirationals, which would be perfect us now to have tooltips which tell us exactly what we're getting. This would be very helpful for everyone...

hint: custom clients pull this information for the wiki :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

I understand that games such as these rely heavily on wikis, but I don't want to alt tab every second to figure out what I'm crafting. This isn't like Minecraft where we need to craft a particular resource, with Salem we deal with a various amount of proficiencies and numbers. Therefore this isn't something you're going to memorize by looking at it a few times. It doesn't make for a very fun experience, but this can be fixed by just showing us what a particular inspirational will provide us before we go through with crafting it.
