Inspiration required to study

I think it says on the wiki that if you study an inspiration item more than once in related time frame the inspiration points needed to study will increase for that item by 10% (correct me please if I am wrong)

My question/idea is when you hover over the study item it tells you the base inspiration points required to study, but in the future will the number change when it increases so you always know how much inspiration yo u will lose on study?

I hope you understand what I mean. thanks.

Inspiration no longer works the way you first described it. Now when you study the same item more than one time you simply lose more inspiration from studying that item than you normally would as a penalty.

The item doesn't show the correct amount it'll use up for a repeat though.

But this point still stands:

If we study the same item again we have no way of telling how much inspiration will it cost.

It appears to increase by 50% each time from the original cost.

Yeah, I'm actually unsure whether the client can tell how much inspiration it will take. Something that is required, imho.
Also, is this a global modifier (e.g. studying two spinning tops will make crucifixes more expensive) or a type-per-type rule ? (haven't tested yet, and cannot test currently because of pc issues).

It seemed more like 40% increases to me (and by seem I mean i did the math a few times to check) and it seems to be specific per inspirational. So like John said, it'll remember the ones you've studied already serverside and apply the appropriate cost adjustments. Best I've done so far is write it down on paper to know never to study more than 2.

Well, it's something that is not really straightforward to remember in the client itself (clear issues across log-ins and so on). It might be possible that the client is getting this adjusted inspirational requirement, but does not show it (I think currently the required inspiration is simply calculated by adding all of the values together - will have to check this when I have some time). Is it shown correctly in the default client?

We developed server-side support for this including having the numbers numerically change in both amounts and colors in the tooltip. That is a required client update/fix and as such is not functioning until the client patch comes out.

If you have it finished on the server side does it mean you also have it included in data packets for the client? If so, wouldn't it be enough to post here about where is it located in the packet so that Kandarim can include it in his client?
