I think it would be fun if the judge at the stocks would make an Area Chat announcement declaring the release of said criminal and who paid for that release.

Maybe there could be a system where you could pay to peek at the judge's records for the last 24 hours to see who the criminals are, who released them and what towns they belong to.

I second this. The stocks are a form of punishment by public shame. Memorizing a character in the stocks should display their real name.

I suppose you are right, there exists in-game mechanics for this that aren't being properly utilized. We really need people to post more information about those they are putting in the stocks. Someone should set up a thread for that... maybe once I've build my damn wall I'll start up that thread if no one else has by then.

Im saying that having the purse droppable from interface menu is a bad idea. I barely missed clicking the canoe and it cost me all the silver and the purse. Having the purse next to something that you click frequently is just a bad thing.
