I find these advertisments rather amusing as i browse the web, and half of the time i end up clicking on them just to see what kind of trash game is on the other end.

It could work for all the wrong reasons, but you know the saying, jump on the band wagon.

You also need a horizontal advertisment, not just vertical.

Toss it onto kongregate or a gaming website like this and hopefully get a massive massive spike in players with hopefully a few hundred/thousand sticking around. They tend to have over 100k's of players through trafic per day.

Tell me about it. At one point, I thought I messed up and made a male character, I didn't realize how pronounced the sideburns were on the cut I chose until I started playing it. :/

As for the text, I'd leave "Free to play" and something like "Crafting-based survival MMO". I don't think people often read more text than it would be enough to get the idea of the banner.
And I checked several MMO sites looking for the banners and I'd say that small banners really use only enough text to make it possible to get the idea of what banner do you click. After reading your banner I would wonder if this is some erotic mmo.

Well, someone mentioned mmorpg.com... I also think giveaway would be a good idea if making second or more account would be made profitless for the abuser.
