I just saw it as a great chance to toss out a Monty Python reference, but I guess that may show my age.

There is a balance between hard-core and building up the community. Sometimes (my opinion) I think the desire is to drive folks away from the game. Not suggesting it should be easier, but I thought having a 'safer' place for folks to congregate was a good thing. I, like you suggested, go when I need to, do my business, and leave. But I might interact more with folks if I was not afraid of getting sick.

Then again, I am here for the crafting not the killing, so what do I know.

I think a bring out your dead cart would be nice to have so that the town doesn't look ugly as ***** with bodies all over the place.

 I know the skit very well, I love Monty Python (Meaning of life is my fave, never really liked Life of Brian) I was actually making reference to the point when the guy is trying to off load his grandfather (i think) onto the cart before he is 'completely dead'.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

It's starting to smell like the retirement home.

I think life of Brian is relevant here as well. If you go far enough north this may happen to you.
