If anything, many people would like to make trading require even more effort (no stalls, no trading via Boston) and be more dangeours (easier to scam, steal goods from a trader). I think the opposition is more against easy transport of goods across large distances, and I agree with it. But what nonsonogiucas is asking for would be perfect if it were INSIDE his own town, then it's just a trip down the street and no more distance then we already routinely move stuff around in towns right now, but silver is now changing hands inside the town and the town develops it's own supply and demand for every commodity. Less frequent trips then get made to Boston to buy or sell in bulk, thouse trips perhaps being made by a specialist who is stocking his booth/store.
