Glenn lost his reputation about Salem things when he trolled everybody into thinking his base wasn't destroyed by the Tribe.

If I get you right, you are saying that the Tribe destroyed my base? If so, proving that shouldnt be a problem and I guess I can expect you to do it?
But if youre willing to do that, maybe do it in another thread, since this one is not a proper place for such discussions.

Quite the opposite. You can't show us proof that your base still stands because we smashed it (luckily before climbing bug was fixed). Anyways, your right. This is not the place to discuss such matters but it was just important to me that you knew we know.

The burden of proof usually lies on the accuser. If youre stating that the Tribe has destroyed my base, then prove it.
If I cant bring up an evidence of my base standing still then that does not imply that you have destroyed it, for example - it could never even exist in the first place and it is quite obvious that you couldnt destroy it just as well. At the same time I cant "prove" it wasnt destroyed by showing that its standing still, due to the fact it doesnt even exist ...argumentum ad ignorantiam [inb4 jcwilk ¦] ]...

Let's see.... 70 players online right now across three servers and the devs still want to keep perma death? Have you thought about just making a PVE server? The population of that alone would probably finance the other three.

I'll allow it, but I think you're both guilty of it ;P

Do you really think they've made a game as unfriendly to newbies and so catered to griefers as this for profitability reasons? And what would you do all day? Not build defenses? Not spam lover's lockets? Not lose your mind to the downward spiral of paranoia, fear, and distrust with which salem imbues onto all who play? No thanks *looks around frantically, recedes into the darkness*

Permadeath wouldn't fix the terrible mechanics in place now, which is what is actually hurting the pop.

Permadeath is a core mechanic that won't change.
