Single walking around yes, but count how much time it cost you weekly or monthly? and this is something that won't give you any progress with any work you have to done inside your town, won't let you know new camp close your base etc etc, so imho it is wasted time.

Please explain to me the difference between patrolling your walls and patrolling the entire map for potential asshats is? If not more boring and stupid

To intercept cannon-caravan you would have to know enemy base location and map between your towns and pick path they would go... you don't have to know whole map for that? and you would have 24h to scout it and made best caravan-path pick.

so taking 5 mins a day for a total of 2.5 hours a month to patrol for a ram that has to sit for 24 hours with someone protecting it is a huge waste of time?

I fear to know what you are doing in this game that is more important then 5 mins after you 1st log on.

5 Minutes might be too low, but it was always done with an alt they're not paying attention to, while the actual characters were doing stuff.

Thing is, for the people who didn't have the ram bots set up it was a boring and annoying task. It was a dumb concept and the only good thing it had was if you gave enough of a ***** you would be semi-safe abarring someone bugging the ***** out of one, or they use bugs (100% of raids on big factions, fact)

That is my point scouting for rams was stupid and protecting rams was stupid, why people want same mechanic here:(
Suggestion I gave can be made even more interesting, I just described basic mechanic.

LMAO! Lrn2bot noob. We patrolled Dis all day long with bots and only clicked one button. Not hard at all :roll:

Don't have that luxury here, but it's still not a hard task by any means. And your whole "scouting" thing is also wrong considering foraging takes the place of that.
