Yeah, I havent said the people of North America had nothing, but dont make everything they made in central and South America be "growable" in North America, since they are on a way different latitude. Some stuff was on corresponding latitude in the North and the South, but it didnt move from South to North until the Europeans came. (So I guess those plants could be used in the game.) All I am saying please keep the plants in the game realistic.

Like planting autumn grass in a pot and getting a beaming-proud sunflower? Or like barley and wheat growing from the same seeds? Or like planting a new world gourd and getting peppers?

Yeah. Fun fact: Alot of the cabbage types stem from the same beet plant.

Actually not true, beets are part of the Amaranthaceae family, while cabbage is part of the Brassicaceae family.

You might be right. Anyhow there are many varieties of cabbage stemming from the approximately same growth.
