That's would be very helpful, cos not every players using skype, steam, TS etc. And it's would be inside the game, what makes being this just easier in using :)

The problem is you can't "just have" ally chat. there needs to be a ally system much like there is a town or group system.

The idea is trash and the game isn't designed around alliances.

You clearly have no idea how programming works if this is what you believe.

Just allow X person to create a custom chat channel, let's call it the alliance chat system for easy reference.
Allow this channel admin to invite, kick and disband his channel.

To not litter the database with a bunch of chats or whatever, just limit it so that you can only create 1 per account.

There was a thread about this awhile back and John gave reasons why he doesn't want to do this. It had something to do with it being much more difficult and costly to do than you think and there are many other things we'd rather put that effort into first.

I'm curious "many other things" :P

personally i don't need ally chat...

I'd most like to see:
- better interface UI for Buddy List, more mechanic for buddy list (note...)
- claim management at a anywhere distance
- selection to the claim he wants to go (compass)
- better management access claim ... individual settings for each player (added)
...

But don't you know then, that different games have different types of coding and a system of their own? They clearly said it is too much work and taking time and comparing to more important stuff it is just not worth it.
