With that type of attitude, go back to Haven & Hearth, because like your signature you're acting like an ass. The new developers asked why I bashed the previous ones, it's because their fans and themselves acted in a similar fashion. It's disrespectful and unprofessional. It's why both of their games really didn't do too well. Being an underground developer supported by a tiny fan base isn't something to brag about, it's embarrassing at the very least.

That will never be a reason for me to consider something.
That being said, yes character creation could be nicer and I'm open to some suggestions on how that could be. On the test server it players a nice little melody. What else can be done?
Well maybe lets start on my second impression of the character creation within the game, even though both times I was confused. One character changes my gender, which took me awhile to figure out since both woman and men look rather similar. The table with the mirror changes my facial features, which also took me awhile to figure out since the angle we start in the game doesn't show our face changing so I had to click it a few times to see what's happening, which wasn't visible until I moved away from it. I actually thought the mirror was going to change my hairstyle, which it clearly didn't. The chest gives me my clothes, which I've noticed that all it provided me was a shirt, which last time I could of swore I additionally got some boots. Not sure if maybe something went wrong or what? Another person changed my hairstyle, another changes my name, and the bucket of colors changed my hair color which some people may get the impression that it changes the color of your clothes or skin color instead. See, it's unorganized and confusing...
So how can this be improved? When creating my character, that's exactly what I want to do. I don't want to be walking around with a character that's grayish and needs to be converted into a person. Instead I want to click on something that'll quickly change me into a male, quickly select the color of my hair, quickly select my hairstyle, and quickly set my name and then be able to start playing the game. While an argument saying that all games have it, therefore you should have it may be a bad one, it's not because I want to remove originality. Sometimes things are a certain way because that's simply the best way to do it. It's professional, convenient, and organized, while the current way makes it seem like the developers couldn't even go out of their way to make a proper character creation screen.
