Hunger...

Gluttony debuff is annoying for most of people, we all MUST login in right time and eat something or we are left behind... that is wrong imo.

In HnH you made hunger for character that allowed to eat faster, why not transfer into Salem something similiar?

"Gluttony buff" should work opposite to current debuff :)
That means if I missed my gluttony time by 1 hour I should have 1 hour "hunger buff", so after I eat food with time 1:20 I should get only 20 minutes of full&fed debuff, because 1 hour was consumed by my "hunger buff".

That should make game a bit more fun for most of medicore players.

What if you only get the "hunger buff" 1 hour after you eat Chinese food? We just need to have the ability to craft MSG :)

You just want the inspiration-like mechanic for gluttoning. I think it would make both mechanics too similar

Maybe yes they would be similar, but I cant see anything wrong with this.

And it can be expanded, like...
gluttony buff can have pool max 10 days time (you can go vacation or something, so it is ok), after 10 days your character is starting to lose 1 bile every 24 hours :)
If your lowest bile reach 0 you die

That should solve many 5 biles alts problems in 15 days :)

EDIT: All I want is to have fun, without using alarm clock in RL to tell me that I HAVE TO login NOW! That is a problem don't you think?

I like to see it as consistent, which is a good thing. And the current system is quite unfriendly towards casual players, so I think it could use an improvement.

Anyway, I think total offsetting of the timer would be too cheesable. It'd be more efficient to reset gluttony after each bile point gain than to suffer invariance penalties like you do now with a long debuff session. IMO it'd be better if it just halved the timers, so you could simply stuff more food into same time (and suffer higher invariance penalties because of that). And I'd cap it off at 3 days (1.5 days worth of actual reduction) for sake of consistency.

You mean it's unfriendly towards casual players because they increase their biles at slower pace than other players?
I think it's much more friendly than previous system.

As for the timers - I haven't reached a timer longer than 11 hours. Usually, at this point my debuffs were so big that trying to glutton would be a waste.
There are foods with long timers and foods with short timers. It's up to the player to decide which ones he prefers. Casual players may prefer longer timers and get more biles during single session.

No, because they waste a lot of time sitting without an active debuff because it requires logging in at precise times which can be hard to schedule just right.

Have to agree here.

I glutton twice a day, at night (around now) and in morning before bed.

I tend to give myself a 6-10h debuff at night then in the morning i try to max it out, normally setting myself up with a 12~ hour debuff.

Yes i have some downtime, however even with my current 55~ all biles, why i am online and active, i can still gain 1 point per hour with micromanagement and 5% purity foraged foods.
