This is a subject that may have been touched upon before, but I have what I think is a bit more 'unique' approach to it.
Skill Name: Wait, huh? (Alternative: How the ****?)
Buildable in home: Cradle, 2 slot
Craftable: Wooden Puppet, female-like or male-like with a 50/50 rate (the wood wants to be what the wood wants to be ok)
When you put both the Wooden Puppet and the Shellback Rattle in the cradle, and leave it over night you will come back the next day to find (surprise!) a real boy or girl (depending on what doll you put in)
Every 2 hours you would get to perform an action for the baby. These actions alternate between feed, change, burp, and coddle. (Feeding would require blood, changing would require black bile, burping would require phlegm, and coddling would require yellow bile) These actions would use 10% of whatever attribute you have. (babies would have to be attuned btw so only one (or 2 I guess) people could perform the actions. (however it was said somewhere that it takes a village to raise a child))
The baby stays a baby for 1 month. After one month it becomes 'mature' and you take it to a doctor in providence (lootable from cradle at this point, held in both hands) who then gives you a birth certificate. This birth certificate would then give you the ability to start a new character with a percentage of the biles 'absorbed' based on how many rotations of actions you got through with the child.
And that brings me to the second part
If a baby is in a house that is destroyed the baby will remain, to mature outside. This baby would become a witch.
If you are looking at taking the game away from lots of alts then this wouldn't be a very helpful idea. At the moment, however, it does seem to be a fun 'nice' thing we could have.
inb4 baby theft being an issue:
it's a magical puppet baby wtf c'mon
(If that isn't a problem, a more 'conventional' means of 'reproduction' would be cool and I am sure a large% of people would prefer it)
