Why should the devs regard this as an important omission from the game?
Do you have a theory about the necessity to couple a rare drop with every / most actions in the game? If so, again, please share!

well if you are a low level player the only thing you can make with feathers is a feather brooch the other 3 things are inspirations which require higher tilled fields I was suggesting more uses for the feathers like maybe fishing gear maybe a new clothing type I am just saying why not make another use for them cause I seem to throw quite a lot of them on the ground and find them useless until later gameplay

Ok, I see your point now...

I don't see how this creates a "gap" in the game experience however... I could say the same things for smooth stones for example. Initially I used them a lot, now I don't bother picking them up, maybe later when I unlock another use for smooth stones I'll start picking them up again...

Could it be that we just need stalls to sell things we currently don't need?
