I don't think there's any way to mass zerg recruit safely, with or without any of the suggestions in this thread. Facing the facts here, each and every single one of them can and will screw up and hurt you in some small way accidentally at the very least. Malicious individuals can exploit these benign mistakes for maximum sustained damage. At the very least, they will always be a source of critical information that can be used against you.

Primarily what I want is some degree of control over who and what is going on in a town so that everything doesn't immediately fall apart because a new guy got a key.

yes, you want artificial safeguards in place so that people can more freely mass recruit with limited risk and i do not.

Just because you play solo or with low numbers doesn't mean others need to do the same.

yep, and you should have to screen your recruits instead of relying on some quasi world of warcrap system to insulate you from being a retard.

the advantages from being in a massive zerg of ***** are already more than numerous enough, there should be a drawback and traditionally the drawback has always been risk of sabotage. as soon as games started making it so that there were NO drawbacks to having 500 droolcups under your tag games turned to ****.
