Emptying Water Containers

Postby Skaulic » Fri Apr 05, 2013 9:41 am

Since the onset of water purity I am stuck with a load of old 0% plain water and a nearby river has better. Unless I'm missing something obvious there doesn't seem to be a way to empty liquid containers other than using it, which I don't want to do.

An empty or decant option would be welcome for this situation. I recall my alarm when I first started and filled my only bucket with oil that I couldn't use fully and being stuck with it until I managed to make a new bucket. Seems trivial now but at the time I couldn't make iron etc and bars were retailing near 150-200 silver, that was a lot of rabbit hides.
Rain is only a problem if you don't like getting wet!

right click on the bucket and you can "sip, drink or empty"

(have the bucket in your inventory and then right click, not sure if you can empty a bucket resting in another container)

Yes but now it would be extremely useful to have an Empty option on things like Clay Troughs and Barrels.

can empty barrels (takes ten bucket clicks and empty)

but clay trough yes

however if you do run dirt thru it just drop the clay on the ground it disappears quickly if you dont need it
