Slingshots!

Postby sivael » Thu Mar 07, 2013 12:15 pm

It just seems stupid to require a *whole bricksized stone* to shoot at a cricket... and deal less than none damage.
So. My suggestion is - leave it as it is, add a skill - say slingshots, and make bullets craftable
Like...

Craftable: 1 stone -> 3 bullets

Craftable: Primitive Bullet pouch (4 fibre)
max of 10.

Craftable: cloth pouch (1 cloth)
max of 15

Craftable: Leather pouch (2 leather)
max of 20

Aaaaand we're set:)

The one thing we REALLY need would be some kind of bag to carry stones, like the powder bag..

Also skill for people who cant buy firearms skill yet..how does firearms even apply to slingshots :|

Ammo bags are definitely needed.

Crafting rock ammunition from bigger stones is essential as well to prevent ammo-bags from being super high capacity rock storage.

Fix shooting animation too, it's ugly especially for a sling.

Imho, they should also change a bit the equipment system so that you can equip up to three poaches, be it dry goods bags, purses, keyrings or ammo bags. One would simply decide what to bring with him.
