Working as intended. Makes zero sense that killing someone on your own land means that the murder didn't happen.

Nobody said it didn't happen just shouldn't leave summonable scents :)
It may leave scent, but like tresspass without any evidence.

Right now it is really stupid, in my time frame I have 3-4 hours per day, lets say I am able to KO and murder thief on my claim, later I will go to sleep, go to work, back after few hours start salem and ohh my char is dead and I lost my base too.
Because thief got friends who just summon killed me from evidences I dropped for defending my camp and I couldn't stay 48 hours online to defend my char from summon-kill - sad, stupid and makes defence not worth time and effort if you doesn't have HV and few murder alts :cry:
