Ridges

Postby Goldenx » Sat May 21, 2016 6:15 pm

Hello dear friends,
Image
I have an idea, by now everyone knows that there are some bugs of how people are not able to get rid of the ridges in their bases or close to the bases (/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=17753)
I don't know how hard it might be for the devs to do it and if it is needed, but people can dig no further to the ridge than from picture (#1), so my idea is to make a new action for the player to be able "throw off" the dirt from (#2) to the (#3) tile, this action may take more phlegm and take longer to dig away one tile (it's up to the devs to decide).

dig the corner 1, then use ctrl+dig on the whole cell to make it flat - it takes the dirt off the highest corners first, easy ;P

extremely useful, u can for example dig the corner to the level u need and then just derp arount with ctrl+dig on the cell center to:
- make all area flat
- make it on the level u need
- be sure u wont dig forever if lagged (it stops when the tile is flat)

the ctrl dig lowers the highest corners to the level of the lowest one if possible

the ctrl+drop dirt makes it flat to the highest corner
shift+drop drops only one sip
