Get a alt.
See how much you do on said alt
remove all armor and see the raw damage
add artifice to your character and see how damage works
dress up the alt to see how defensive artific works
test reel
test guns
test darts
see how much yb is used
etc

Maybe for you, not for everyone. This, along with many other chores that make you feel like a bot, is just plain boring.

And the fact that an alt is needed to do almost every task in this game makes it even worse.

Nothing above is being a bot. Alts are not required for any part of this game. People use them because it's more efficient.

Not true

Will these be used as a new raid defense that generates additional insanity when people are attacking a vClaim or pClaim? Kind of like an evil totem?

My other thought is that they would have to be built over top of farms so that you could scare the crows away that will show up. Likely there will be two mechanics to handle the crows and one new mechanic for crows. One if you do not have a scare crow you will have 12 hours to run the crows off for yourself with the new skill "Run and wave your arms like an idiot while yelling SHOO" at which point based on your F&F you will have a chance to trip and scrap your knee and bleed for 10 seconds while stunned. Two you would need a scare crow to be able to attack crows so that you can kill them. A killed crow can be butchered for feathers a bird skeleton. The feather have a chance of giving you bird flu. The dead crow could be fed 3 royal jellies to create a giant flying crow that is used as a flying mount but based of your perennial philosophy has chance to drop out of the sky causing you to lose 200 blood and yet again cause you to scrape your knee for 10 seconds.
