Ravenous spark

Postby Huskell » Tue Jun 30, 2015 3:26 am

Really? Just got KO and lost all my inventory because of this dumb item. I have no idea why the developers add items like this to the game, it seems they like to see people rage and stop playing their game. Same thing for itchy britches.

Its part of the insanity/madness mechanic, read about it in the wiki or on the thread in the announcements board on the forums.

It is 100% preventable, the reason you KOd was because you failed to prevent it.

When it appears in your inventory drop or store all your coal asap and it will fizzle out soon enough.

Salem got a lot of features that have disastrous consequences that can catch you off guard the first time you encounter them. Fortunate is the one who avoid the KO-loop on their first bat encounter for example. After that first time you'll usually be able to deal with things like that much easier though.

That didn't work, it just begin to eat my food, wood, then my tools. And I got KO pretty quickly with low health and you can't drop a thing while KO'd, just watch your loot burn.

Your supposed to read the tooltip on the spark, there are also other threads on how to get rid of it, as well as the madness level.

Exactly, when it appears just move the spark to your backpack with no coal in it. it will extinguish now you learn and now you won't repeat the same mistake, that's the purpose of salem.

don't get madness levels and you don't encounter this kind of thing.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

You better go search forums for your problem 1st because it was discussed before... Most ppl deal with it at 1st encounter without any stress. But its really funny to listen those who dont :D

This is consequences of your ignorance. Its really dumb to cut a tree with a spoon i agree, go learn how to use an axe (game mechanics).
