Also, the forums are a pretty friendly place if you don't stray near HoB or CuaH

Aye, a good point, though I just wish there was a way for easy communication to go on, back and forth, between local villages. Maybe some sort of local bulletin board  ? Kidding. I dunno, I can't really think of anything, but there's like five villages near my own that either don't use the forums or may not wanna give away details that I'd love to negotiate some sort of 'raider watch' alliance or whatever. Using sign-posts is an option, but a fairly annoying one :? .

Set up a little Pclaim between the towns. Give everyone larceny and tresspassing. Build a shed on it. Put keys in it for the people who will be leaving messages. They change their key(s) when they want to say something. You can use a system of moving various types of boulders to show when there is a new message or it has been read. Just move the boulders to different places to show when there is a new message, when one or two groups have read it, when it's been read by everyone.

Of course, this method presupposes some sort of alliance. That's something you'd have to get together with all of them and discuss anyway. If you want to negotiate with people in game, you'll have to take some risks, if only with an alt.

You could do this with a Hollow Log for a fraction of the cost.

OR you could just swap forum names while you're setting up the details.
Does noone see the glaring sarcasm in that post ?
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Black has always been the color for sarcasm on the Salem forums.
