+1 to this, I dont want you bloody raiders being able to see if I have a good pot or not!
Use a pen and paper and write down the numbers as you go.. make a map of your own place.. its not that difficult!

*raider comes into my claim and switches the bins places around*

Me: nooooooooo!

15 Months later...
Guess what we still don't have! I'd like to believe the july4 update will address this but I've learned not to be TOO optimistic here.

At this point in time we are designing around the idea that structures will no longer have purity. Thus we have not invested effort in making the current ones display it.

Reading my comment for a second time, it sounds a lot more negative than I had intended. Thank you JC for your continued level-headed responses to criticism.

Abandoning Structure-Purity does make sense, since Scenery Objects cannot be tweaked and manipulated in the same way that items can. You can't put a Compost Bin into a Pressure Cooker, for example.

It also simplifies infrastructure, since you don't have to make 4 copies of everything.

Further, it avoids the question of why some structures are affected while others are not (why no brick purity for Baking ovens? ;) ).
